Sierra Spectrum (PPO) maintains a Preferred Drug List (sometimes known as a formulary), so when your Sierra Health and Life contracted provider makes a selection from this list, your out-of-pocket cost is lower. For a higher copayment, Sierra Spectrum also provides coverage for medications not included on our Preferred Drug List. The Preferred Drug List is reviewed periodically and is subject to change throughout the year. Sierra Spectrum has contracts with pharmacies that equal or exceed the CMS requirements for pharmacy access in your area, and has more than 45,000 contracted pharmacies in the network.
