Health Plan of Nevada, Inc.

Nevada's first and largest federally qualified health maintenance organization (HMO) is a mixed group/network model offering a full range of benefit plans including point-of-service (POS), individual plans for self-employed workers and a Medicare Advantage plan called Senior Dimensions. Health Plan of Nevada has been awarded an accreditation status of "Commendable" from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to measuring the quality of America's health care. Accreditation is for the Commercial HMO, Commercial POS and Medicare HMO product lines in Nevada, effective April 28, 2009.

Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company, Inc.

A California-domiciled life and health indemnity insurance company, established in 1906 and acquired by Sierra Health Services in 1986, Sierra Health and Life is currently licensed in 43 states and the District of Columbia. Sierra Health and Life offers a preferred provider organization (PPO) product in Nevada and offers a stand-alone prescription drug plan, SierraRx, in 30 states and the District of Columbia.
